PennDOT announces limited reopening of license, photo centers in 'Yellow Phase' counties

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Saturday that it will begin the limited reopening of some license and photo centers in counties that have moved into the "Yellow Phase."

Locally, 3 driver license centers will begin opening on Saturday, and one additional photo center will open on Monday.

PennDOT says these centers will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM, and will host special hours of operation, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, for customers over the age of 60.

PennDOT is reminding customers that wait times will be longer than normal and that those seeking to renew a license or ID should consider doing so online or by mail.
