Ferguson Twp police investigating shots fired incident in Overlook Heights neighborhood

FERGUSON TWP, Pa (WJAC) — Ferguson Township police are investigating a shots fired incident near the Overlook Heights neighborhood, according to a news release.

Officers say that several shots were fired into a parked car, from a shotgun, that was parked in the driveway of a residence, along the 1400 block of North Allen Street.

Police believe that the incident occurred Wednesday night, sometime between 9:30 and 10 p.m.

Authorities also add that they believe the person involved fled the area in an older model Ford or Dodge pickup truck.

No injuries were reported, police note, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Ferguson Township police department either by phone, 1-800-479-0050, or by email.
